Well-being writing

Following being on the interfaith panel at Pink Therapy’s Intersectional Conference my paper ‘The Chicken Soup of Identity’ was accepted for a book called ‘Non-Binary Lives: An Anthology of Intersecting Identities’ (editor Dr Jos Twist, Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust; associate editors: Dr Meg-Jon.Barker, Dr Ben Vincent and Dr Kat Gupta; published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers).

‘Non-Binary Lives’ made number one LGBTQ+ book in The Independent’s Best Book Buys of 2020, and Best Reads for Pride 2020, and ranked number one ‘Learning about Gender’ book in The Independent article Best LGBTQ+ Books 2021. The book was also a 2021 Lambda Literary Award Finalist, and was recommended as further reading in the 'Non-Binary Inclusion In Sport' leaflet by LEAP Sports.

I am very proud of all the contributors and to us together making a book of this kind, which I hope will be a valuable support to other members of the community who may be exploring their gender diversity.
